Prior to Austyn joining the firm in 2023, she worked as the head of operations for one of the largest wedding planning companies in the Midwest.

Austyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. While at UWO she was elected student body president and was selected to represent her national sorority Sigma Sigma Sigma as a student lobbyist in Washington D.C focusing on housing reform. Between university and law school, Austyn completed a year of service with AmeriCorps working with at-risk youth experiencing homelessness and human trafficking.

Austyn is a 2022 summa cum laude graduate of the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she also earned a certificate in conflict resolution theory and practice. During her time in law school, Austyn and her negotiation partner competed in and won the ABA Regional Competition, took second place at the ABA National Competition, and won the International Negotiation Competition. She also served as the student liaison for the Hennepin County Bar Association, participated in the Business Law Clinic as a student and teaching assistant, and completed a Judicial Externship to the Honorable Mark C. Vandelist in Minnesota’s First Judicial District.

Austyn lives in Minneapolis with her Boston terrier, Judge and two cats, Doodle and Ringo. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, baking, sampling the food scene in the Twin Cities, and traveling to new states to tour their capitol buildings.
