About James T. Keig

Jamie joined the firm in 2016. He is originally from Plymouth, MN and previously practiced at firms in Wayzata and downtown Minneapolis. He has represented various clients in the financial services industry ranging from large national banks and insurers to closely held business entities and their individual owners. Jamie values the relationships he has developed throughout the course of his legal career and appreciates the opportunities he has had to work with so many talented clients and colleagues. He takes great pride in becoming an essential member of his clients’ teams.
Jamie attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he studied business management. Between college and law school, he worked in product development at General Mills. As a law student at the University of Minnesota, Jamie served as a student director for the University of Minnesota Bankruptcy Clinic, worked as an outside articles editor for the legal journal Law and Inequality: A Journal of Theory and Practice, and participated in the Chief Judge Conrad Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court competition in New York. He is actively involved with the Minnesota State Bar Association as well as numerous local and national civic and community groups.
In his free time Jamie skis, plays guitar poorly, and dreams of a Vikings super bowl “victory parade.”
